Creating a Flash Project Using Only Text
This tutorial is particularly good for perhaps advertising, selling or just something to expand your knowledge.
This is a very simple flash file, but yet, good to know.
We will only need 1 layer, rename layer 1, text.
Now for this tutorial I will be advertising Learning Flash 8 Professional.
On the first key frame using the brush tool draw the Letter L. actually, only draw the first letter of the thing you are going to write, in my case in is L for Learning Flash 8 Professional. Now skip a frame and on the 3rd keyframe draw the second letter of what you are writing. Perhaps this may be in a different colour to make it look more appealing, or larger than the other letter. Remember, be creative. Now continue to draw the next letter on ever second frame remembering to insert new keyframes. When you have written out the whole thing, test it, now it looks like the text is being typed out the screen. The reason I have used the brush tool is it doesn’t look as plain as what it would when using the text tool. Now to add to this try adding some animation, you may want to animate the text, by now you should know how to do this, if not, I suggest you take a few of the previous tutorials again.
Add anything to this to make it more appealing to the viewer.
I might want to have learning appear on the first few frame, and than using a shape tween transform it in flash and so on, this creates a nice effect.
Try a few different things, as I have said plenty of times, exploring is the way to learn new things.
